Model HP15

Model HP15

Hydra-Pneumatic Stamping Platform
(15 Ton)

The Model HP15 is a hydra-pneumatic press designed for hot stamping and heat transfer applications requiring high tonnage and controlled pressure delivery. By combining pneumatic operation with hydraulic force amplification, the HP15 platform provides substantial stamping force while maintaining efficient and repeatable cycle performance.

As the highest-capacity model in the hydra-pneumatic series, the HP15 is well suited for large-format applications, rigid materials, and production environments requiring consistent pressure across the entire stamping surface.

Available Configurations and
Process Options

The HP15 platform can be configured for either heat transfer or hot stamping applications depending on production requirements.

Hot Stamping (RL)

  • Foil-based decoration process
  • Motor-driven, timer-controlled foil advance
  • Suitable for single-color, metallic, or durable markings
  • Simplified indexing system for consistent foil application

Note:  Hot stamping-only machines cannot be used for heat transfer.

Heat Transfer (HT)

  • Multicolor image transfer capability
  • High-accuracy transfer indexing system
  • Photoelectric eye registration for precise placement
  • Two-speed indexing control for improved accuracy
  • Fine adjustment for transfer alignment
  • Suitable for detailed graphics and multi-color applications

Note:  Heat transfer machines can also perform hot stamping.

Built for Large-Format and High-Force Applications

The HP15 is designed for applications that require maximum force within the hydra-pneumatic range and consistent pressure across large imprint areas.

Typical use cases include:

  • Large-format decoration and marking
  • Rigid or thick material applications
  • Applications requiring uniform pressure across wide surfaces
  • Production environments where hydraulic-level force is needed with pneumatic efficiency

The availability of both C-frame and four-post configurations allows the system to be tailored to specific structural and accessibility requirements.

Tooling and Automation Integration

The HP15 supports full integration with:

  • Custom tooling and dies
  • Nesting fixtures and alignment systems
  • Rotary index tables and slide tables
  • Pick-and-place systems
  • Vision inspection and auto-eject systems

Hastings can design complete automation systems or integrate the HP15 into existing production lines, including robotic and conveyor-based systems.
